Testing Ground for New Behaviors

How do you minimize risk for a $135MM investment?  Project 21 was created as a pilot floor to test new ways of working, new space types, and new furniture for a energy company embarking on journey to re-invent their workspace for their upcoming consolidation to a new 1MM sf tower.  This proof of concept floor is a live mock-up built to look and function like a floor within the new tower, and will be used for real-time data collection for a duration of six months.

The design for Project 21 represents the utilitarian nature of the organizations engineering teams, stripping back materials to expose basic building elements.  The modern industrial interior is complimented by bold environmental graphics that tell a story of both the testing environment and the organizational culture.
